Does anyone else feel uncomfortable with the idea of having "followers"?? ! Would you tweet as well as facebook? even though all your "followers" are on facebook?? would you send someone a facebook message if you had their phone n...umber?? how do you seperate what to tweet and "whats on your mind"?? 99% of you would remove me if you knew what was really on my mind (women especially) i mean that in the nicest possible way...



I have to post a picture of a fine ass from time to time for no apparent reason....

I've always taken the term "mother fucker" as a compliment. Don't see why these rappers get so shirty about it.



Surely the term "father fucker" should replace "mother fucker"? "mother fucker" should be reserved for those worthy of such a prefix.

Word just in - the MUTHAFUCKING GASLAMP KILLER is playing at the legion tomorrow in old street!!!!!! anyone who has seen him play and heard his mixes will know. If you haven't? your ass is laaaaaate! imagine a skinny white dude with an afro, big ass beard and glasses with insane energy, you got the killer. He played sonar this summer and tore it a new arsehole.. EARLY!

Crooked tongues x Carhartt and RUSKO!

Went to the crooked tongues x carhartt bbq yesterday. It was all good until we learnt the food had ran out! how can you host a free bbq and RUN OUT OF FOOD!


Anyway, the FREE drinks were flowing and there were a few girls about. Party was full of people watching each other and ish. I know what i was doing though...



Blah Blah Blah, a good few drinks and hours later, Rusko makes his entrance



and promptly BATTERS down the rave!

Should have spent at least 15 minutes performing stretches on the major muscle groups before he came on..... What i love about rusko is, he's right there with you all the way. Went to koko yesterday to see a friend of mine xenmate, play in the Jack Daniels room.




Met loads of really friendly spanish folk, sandwiched inbetween 2 spanish women who enticed me to dance with them. We had a really good hamburger situation going on (i was the burger), until 2 drunk guys came over and tried to make it a triple whopper or something....they were quickly shown hostility and made their exit. Met a new best friend from chile, say wasup man -



He had an old skool reebok chilean (i think its pronounced CHI LAY AN or is it CHI LI YAN? hmm) football shirt on with the number 11 on the back (ivan zamorano) a good look. If i ever need a place to stay whilst in Chile, i know who to look up.

Anyway, weather looks good - gonna go out and top up my tan.

Update

Bumped in to my guy Budgie from honest jons records on portobello road.



He turned me on to some funk i've never heard before, a group called Lakeside. They maaaaaad funky.



He's also putting on a night at market place with Eric lau called "TOMORROWW" on the 29th of August. Music will be very much like the video above. Borrow your dads purple suit (you know hes got one) and get down.
Djs on the night will be Floating Points, Eric Lau, Budgie and Inka.

On the subject of funk, saw this video of roger troutman and tech9ne in the studio. Look out for when tech9ne's wife calls and roger talks to her through the vocoder. Its bare funny!

Free Jazz

Free jazz is an experimental impromtu form. It unites elements of big band, avant garde and classic jazz forms. The tempo is very off kilter but perfect in its timing. Its greatest exponent is Sun-ra. Although many have dabbled in this form (thelonious monk for example), Sun-ra remains the figure head for this very specific sound. It has a very cosmic spacey feel to it. Almost as if it were forged from the cosmos themselves. The sun takes lead whilst the moon sings backup and saturn feverently beats his drum and the stars dance in unbridled excitement. I could talk about this all day, but id rather you watch the video to really feel free....

Keep it Funky, DAM FUNKY!

Dam funk album has ben out for a minute (Toeachizown) and I've been bumping it HARD! It arrives in 5 parts vol1 (LAtrik) and vol2 (Fly). The remaining 3 volumes will be released later on in the year.
VERY funky indeed. Imagine Roger troutman meets Dabrye. Its funky and its still got that glitchy hump.

What a fucking weekend!!! Dj sandrinho came down from brazil and played at yo mama!! some women give me jooooooke!! lol. Chatting to a girl who looked EXACTLY like jamelia. Hold tight the female comedians in the building lol. Hold tight the awkward guy and his shoes on the n5 and the girl trying to chat him up (nearly pissed myself laughing) Hold tight the ghost busters lol. sean ngesa should be on tv SWEAR DOWN!

Chatting to JOKER about tunes, Pinch is the fucking man!!!! kept pronouncing GUIDO's name wrong its pronounced (GIDO). Saw THE MAN Giles peterson, playing some funky joints.

Hold tight the little women! feisty! Had a discussion with mr thing about kraftwerk and twilight 22. Hold tight my guy T looking a million dollars. I'm stealing that look (sorry bro lol). On a bit of a mad one yesterday! god bless the n5! you guys know I'm always laughing, but yesterday was CRAZY!! sean ngesa's pulitzer prize winning one liners didn't help lol.
