Obsessed (Idris Elba & Beyoncé Movie)

The movie is about Derek Charles (UK-born and bred Idris Elba), a successful brotha who's just got a huge promotion. He's happily married to beautiful and bootylicious Sharon (Beyoncé Knowles), but then temp worker Lisa (Ali Larter) starts stalking a brotha haaard. Then things start getting messed up. You already know the bizness, right?

The movie opens in the UK on the 29th, so head down to the cinema's and check this out. If you're wondering if this movie is your thing, check out the trailer below. I'm gonna watch it because as an avid fan of The Wire I've got to see ma bro Stringer doing his thing.

Kanye West & Malik Yusef "Magic Man" (feat. Common, John Legend)

This collabo was born out of Ye's label G.O.O.D Music.

(Kanye please if you're reading this, I thank you for not singing and I promise to buy your next album if you keep this up. Oh yeah.. and i'll think about copping myself a pair of Air Yeezy's)

This track is featured on the independently released double album, G.O.O.D. Morning, G.O.O.D. Night, which includes never before heard and rare tracks from the G.O.O.D. Music fam.

Maybe I am biased, but as one of my favorite rappers, I believe Common laid it DOWN. As usual John Legend did his thing... and made a shout-out to his groupies, of whom he possesses in his hand, at the end of the track.

Fabolous' Loso's Way Coming Soon...

"Loso's way" is gonna be Fabolous' 5th album release, to be released on the 28th (2 days from me posting this up)
The album is to have similar concept to Jay-Z's American Gangster, with the concept film to be the well-known G-flick Carlito's Way (1993). Even though Fab says he's not planning on including many guests artists, his confirmed tracks says otherwise:

  • "Throw It in the Bag" (featuring The-Dream) (produced by Tricky Stewart) - 3:15

  • "Stay" (featuring Marsha Ambrosius)

  • "Just Comin' in"

  • "Pachanga"

  • "Your Baby" (featuring Keri Hilson & Ryan Leslie) (produced by Ryan Leslie)

  • With such sick-looking collabos, it looks like we're in for a treat in a couple days time, so put this album on your wishlist.

Check out the trailer below: The soundtrack is "It's My Time" feat. Jeremih (Chi-town born RnB dude)
